1. How current are Dr. Maddahi's procedures?
Dr. Kourosh Maddahi's Los Angeles cosmetic dentist office stays very up-to-date with the latest changes to cosmetic dentistry. He and his staff get periodic training in the most recent updates to the technologies involved with smile makeovers, and he is constantly modernizing his equipment.
2. What can you do with these unsightly stains on my teeth?
Dr. Maddahi uses Zoom2 Chairside Tooth Whitening, an in-office tooth whitening procedure. The main ingredient in the whitening gel is hydrogen peroxide which is at a much stronger concentration in the dental office than in-home procedures, so it whitens better. This gel whitens both enamel and dentin, so you'll be greatly pleased with the new color of your teeth.
3. What if I want to know more specifics about my procedure before we begin?
Dr. Maddahi explains everything to his patients and wants to know from you about any concerns or questions you might have. He is very open to communication and is very willing to cater to any special needs of his patients.
4. How is cosmetic dentistry better than orthodontics?
Wearing unsightly braces and retainers can be embarrassing, and often they must be worn for years. Dr. Maddahi can give you a natural-looking, comfortable smile in less time, and with less pain than can be involved with orthodontics.
5. Can I see what my teeth will look like before the procedure is performed?
Using our state-of-the-art Digital Cosmetic Imaging, this is quick and easy. You can see what your smile is going to look like, so you know it's going to look natural. Additionally, it's much easier to make changes to the plan before any work is done than it would be when you look into the mirror after the procedure is totally completed.
6. How painful will my procedure be?
Dr. Maddahi works hard to make your procedure as comfortable and painless as possible. Because the speed of application is the cause for the pain often found when getting anesthetic through a needle, "The Wand" is used to apply local anesthesia more slowly. Air drills are used in place of metal drills when possible so the amount of pain is hugely decreased. Additionally, there are many other tools and procedures he uses to make your time with us more comfortable and enjoyable.
7. Can you handle the gaps between my teeth and my uneven teeth?
Using porcelain veneers or caps, Dr. Maddahi can repair your smile so there is no longer a gap and your teeth are even. Additionally, your smile will look beautiful and natural because of his magnificent artistry combined with the advanced equipment he uses.
